Thank you to everyone who supported the recent BITPEN STEM Book Drive that benefited United Way of Delaware’s Ballard’s Reading Buddies program in observance of Women’s History Month. The books focused on Black women who were trailblazers in STEM fields, and we’re happy to say that our goal to collect 50 books from the Amazon BITPEN Book Registry - within a two-week timeframe - was doubled to having collected more than 100 books! In late March, several BITPEN members delivered the books to Keene Elementary School in Newark, Delaware. In recognition of our support and partnership with Ballard’s Reading Buddies, BITPEN has been invited to virtually read the books aloud to students. So once again, thank you for supporting this important initiative designed to celebrate the courageous Black women who paved the way in STEM. #makeanimpact #STEM #Womenshistorymonth
