👋 Hey AM community, do you know the people behind GKN Additive and Forecast 3D MFG? Around the world, we are a team of true AM enthusiasts! This is the latest part of our new #WhoWeAreWednesday series: Have you met Galina Ermakova? As a Business Development Manager at GKN Additive, Galina focuses on growth opportunities. In close collaboration with our customers, she develops and improves applications with our material and technology know-how. Galina completed her M. Sc. in Production Engineering and B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University. Prior to joining our team in 2017, she gathered expertise in 3D printing as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Lasertechnik ILT and application engineer at a German printer manufacturer. 🧩 It's probably not a usual hobby for someone her age - but Galina really loves puzzling. After a long day, nothing can calm her down as much as focusing on matching 1.000 puzzle pieces on a table in front of her... 🍦 Fun fact: Galina can't resist ice cream - especially not Italian ice cream. That's the reason why she even started to learn Italian!
