👋 Hey AM community, do you know the people behind GKN Additive and Forecast 3D MFG Around the world, we are a team of true AM enthusiasts! This is the latest part of our new #WhoWeAreWednesday series: Have you met Lennart Hecker? As a Development Engineer for Binder AM, Lennart is gathering fundamental process-data, especially on green and sintered parts. With this data he can develop tools e.g. for the determination of scaling factors and certain compensation factors – this helps us to improve the quality of our Binder Jetting components. Lennart completed his B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wuppertal. Prior to joining our team in 2019, he completed the GKN Powder Metallurgy Trainee Program and gained experience in multiple roles throughout GKN locations in Germany, Romania, and India. Right after that Lennart started as a product engineer in our Metal Injection Molding (MIM) plant in Germany. 🏍 Outside of work, Lennart loves to ride his 125ccm motorcycle and to go hiking in the beautiful forest around Radevormwald. Also, he really looking forward to visiting a festival or live concert again soon. 🎵 Funfact: For a couple of years Lennart has played blues harmonica in a band together with Susanne from GKN Additive's marketing team and can not wait to pickup this nice little instrument up again…
