👋 Hey AM community, do you know the people behind GKN Additive and Forecast 3D MFG Around the world, we are a team of true AM enthusiasts! This is the latest part of our new #WhoWeAreWednesday series: Have you met Jim Zhan? Jim is an Additive Manufacturing at GKN Additive in China. He is responsible for releasing new products in accordance with customer requirements and supports the sales team to expand the Chinese 3D printing market. Jim studied Materials Engineering and achieved a Masters's Degree at the Hefei University of Technology. He has been with GKN since 2016 and prior to joining our team, he gathered extensive expertise as a process engineer for GKN Powder Metallurgy. Jim says that these experiences helped him a lot to develop the skills he needs for his current position. 🌊🥽 As a balance to work, Jim loves to spend time swimming or traveling. One of his favorite destinations is Santorini, right now he is planning his next trip go to Tibet. 💡 Fun fact: Jim had his first touchpoints to Additive Manufacturing during a business trip to Germany when he was still a PM process engineer. Back then his first thought was: "What a cool technology! How fantastic it would be to have the opportunity to work with it!"
