👋 Hey AM community, do you know the people behind GKN Additive and Forecast 3D MFG? Around the world, we are a team of true AM enthusiasts! This is the latest part of our #WhoWeAreWednesday series: Have you met Steven Schuchardt? As Manager Manufacturing Engineering, Steven is responsible for automation technology and process development in our Binder AM shopfloor in Bad Langensalza, Germany. He is in constant dialogue with other production sites and dedicated to standardizing process-relevant information. Steven is a state-certified technician of mechanical engineering. He has been with GKN since 2010 and prior to joining our team in 2019, he gathered extensive expertise in quality management, feedstock development, and process automatization for MIM at GKN Sinter Metals. 📷 Outside of work, Steven is a passionate photographer. He loves capturing unique moments with his analog Leika camera that can't be edited afterward. Understanding how technical factors like focal length and exposure influence a final picture fascinates him. 🤓 Fun fact: Steven collects historical LEGO sets and has gathered some precious pieces over the years. His oldest set is more than 25 years old.
